The walk around Dove Lake is great, just like the postcards! – but is a 6.5km circuit and it’s nonsense to suggest it takes 1-2 hours (unless you’re training for Olympics!). We are fit and able, and took a comfortable 3 hours on a dry day, with a few photo stops along the way.
